Being a teenager means a lot of hormones messing up our skin, causing breakouts, grease, or dryness. Personally, i have to admit i am blessed with skin not as sensitive and acne-prove as some others, however that doesnt mean i can be careless about my skincare routine.
i have combination skin, meaning my T-zone is often greasy, while my cheeks, under eyes, and hairline is extremely dry and often flakey. Finding a moisturiser that wouldnt grease up my T-zone is an endless struggle, however i recently found Clinique's Moisture Surge and have been satisfied with the results. It moisturises my skin without leaving any greasy residue and leaves my skin as soft as a baby's bottom the very next day!
while my skin isnt as sesnsitive and acne-prone as some may be, i do have breakouts and acne once in a while, again, often in my T-zone as that is where most of my natural oils show and collect bacteria. After trying many different acne treatments i have found a love for The BodyShop's teatree oil targeted gel, as it is small and portable, and serves it's purpose perfectly.
living in a poluted city like Jakarta means dull skin amd acne breakouts, one of the best ways to encounter dull skin are facials, masks, and scrubs! My recent favourites being the chocolate mask by @cyns.beautycorner
along with my bio kefir mask that helps reduce acne by @organic.kefir
lately i have been sooooooo obsessed with twilly scarves, like you guys dont even know😂 Twilly scarves have been around for a really long time, but of course is popularised by Hermes, who's made Twilly scarves one of their signature styles. And of course, these scarves are very versatile. Wear it on your neck as a scarf, on your wrist, on your bag straps, hair, belt, the possibilities are endless!
Especially lovin this twilly by @a2zonlineshoppe, keep reading to see how i styled this twilly scarf!
wearing it on your neck really adds a pop of color and makes your look much more put together, and of course, gives off the illusion of a more high-fashion outfit. Its basically a more subtle take on a statement piece!
What i love most about this is that we can customise our whole look with just a twilly scarf! Use a bright colored one like i did to add a pop of color and give out fun hippie vibes, or use a neutral color like black, white, or tan to give off a more proffesional look.
2. Hermes inspired twilly bags
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS STYLE! Its so easy and customizable, changing the look of your bags completely by just adding a twilly scarf, and there are so so many ways to tie it too! A bow, a wrap, a flower, possibilities are endless!
The reality of fashion blogging, or content creating as some others call it. Being a young entrepreneur out off instagram and fashion blogging seems easy. I mean why wouldnt it be? Dont you just take photos and get paid millions? But really, it isnt all just fun and games. Fashion blogging and content creating may seem simple, but it takes just as much sweat and tears as any other job would offer.
WARNING: very long ramble below😂
When i explain what i do, most of the time, they would think its so easy. All i have to do is post a photo anyway... But really, so much work is put into every single photo. And as stupid as i sound admitting it, i have had way too many emotional breakdowns just thinking about how my photos look, what to write, what to post, when to post, how much i have, how much i made, and more. As content creators we are expected to make good content. And to do so requires a quality camera and even time to take the photos.
My weekends are filled with photoshoots. They dont have to be fancy, i can just take my mom, but at the end, most of my weekends are filled with just a trip to some fancy cafe with a camera, when i could really be spending this time on hanging out with friends or family. And even then, not all the results are satisying to me, and i end up only using a photo out of the 50 other photos of the same outfit taken that day...(not even exaggerating). And then there is blogging. Its not always easy to think of exactly what to write for each blog post. Even though my blog isnt all that succesful at the moment, it still makes that bit of difference. To write about a product or outfit and make it seem interesting is a challenge. We cant just say "oh i got this lipstick and its really good' and expect to make any cash out of it. Sometimes, i even spend hours looking through other blogs just to find inspiration for my own posts. It really isnt as easy as we make it seem.
And then there is finance. Many people expect different things when i explain how i make money off social media. Of course, opinions differ from one person to the other. Most of my younger followers think i make no money at all, some people expect me to make 50.000 per post, and some people i know think i make millions each post. But really how much can a 14 year old make with just 8000 followers?
Its 2016, millions and millions of people are on social media, and many of them have hundreds of thousands or millions and millions of followers. How am i to make millions of money out of just 8000 followers? Well, in reality, i don't. While i do make enough money off my page, i most definitely do not make millions per post.
First of all, every instagrammer, content creator, blogger, etc have different prices for their pages. Not just basing them off their amount of followers, but also their reputation and quality. I know people with millions of followers who barely make 500k a post, and even some with 2000 followers who make 2mil a post. It really depends on who you are, how your page looks, how you post, how much interaction you have, and more. So you really can't just go walk around and guess how much money we make off our pages.
I realise i've been going slightly off topic, so how much do i make? To start the answer of this question, no i am definitely not one of those lucky people who get paid millions a photo with just a decent amount of viewers, but i have to say i make an okay amount of money basing it off my follower count at the moment. Just like most other fashion bloggers and content creators, i too have packages for brands who would like to work with me. For example, posting one photo of just a t-shirt would be 300k, 2 posts would be 400k, 3 posts would be 500k, and so on. Prices would differ of course from product to product. Better quality outfits would cost less, and accesories or cosmetics would cost way more. If i were invited to an event or to go have a formal photoshoot, of course i would charge them a lot more than just sponsored posts. And considerring i post almost everyday, twice a day sometimes even, i make aproximately 9 million a month. While that isnt much, considering how much most other bloggers like Olivia Lazuardy (who has 196k and makes 73 mil a month), i am pretty happy with how much i can make with just as little as 8000 followers. Especially as i know people with over 300k who makes barely half of what i make each month off their social media platforms.
Gaining more popularity.
Another common thing i get asked would be how i gained so many followers within just a few years. I remembered only having 900 followers at the end of 6th grade, and fast forward 4 years i'm here with 8000. To begin with, i know having 900 followers isnt little, especially for a 12 year old. And how i started my account was being a super cringey kid who posts crappy photos on instagram. Until the point where in 6th grade, i met my teammate Chloe Purnama. She doesnt know this, but i was such a big fan of hers. She had the most amazing feed and fashion taste, and was fashion blogging at the time and had 5k. (She's a succesful public speaker now) and i thought to myself, i want to fashion blog too, i want to have thousands and thousands of followers. So that day i deleted my 700 crappy photos and started posting OOTD photos every saturday, and before i know it had reached 900 followers. As i improved my feed, i gained about 2000 followers within that same year.
But what really boosted my followers up is reputation. Coincidentally, a close family friend of mine owns MNC's talent management. She often invited me to many different public events to meet new people who are oh so inspiring. Getting invited to these events and getting to meet new people from MNC definitely help build a better reputation. It builds a bigger social network between you and others, and since these events are already big on their own, the audience from these events as well as the fans of new people we meet would start to find you. And if you appeal to them (feed and all) then there you go, better reputation and followers online.
Before this blog posts gets out of hand, i will end my long a** ramble here. Just remember that no matter what we do, whether or not it is to make a living, make sure to still enjoy it and have fun, and to not be too stressed out about what youre doing. Much love everyone❤️
wearing my mom jeans by @need.and.grab
We've all had those days when all we want to do is just lay in bed, eat some pizza, and binge watch Stranger Things in our soft, fluffy, sweaters. Alas! We have things to do and places to go, so here are some of my favourite lazy day outfits for when we're too lazy to get dressed.
#1 - Sweater Weather
Who says sweaters are only for pajamas? A good old oversize sweater is super comfortable and yet very versatile, making it the perfect piece for those lazy days when we'd rather be in bed than running errands. Pair it with denim shorts or leggings and you're good to go! Bonus points for unique sweaters and fancy shoes or accesories!
for my lazy day outfit, i wore this oh so comfy distressed high-low sweater by @Clarabelleboutique and my black lace-up shorts by Forever21. The highlow and distressed detailinh on my sweater definitely take this outfit to the next level, giving off the illusion that i put wayyyy more effort into the look than i actually did. I then wore my trusty oxford heels by Docter Martens, which are actually very comfortable yet look very sophisticated. Will be doing a blog post on my shoe collection so look out for that.
#2 - Cotton Bellsleeves
A soft cotton bellsleeve top is literally a pajama top in disguise of a statement piece. The cotton material is so soft and gentle to the skin, while the wide bellsleeves give you a lot of room to move around, and plus, bellsleeves remind me of the 70s, who doesnt love the 70s?
For my outfit, i put on my comfy bellsleeves and skorts, as skorts give you the illusion of wearing a skirt, which gives off that sweet aura, while letting you move around freely as they are actually shorts in disguise. My bellsleeves have a sort of tribal or aztec pattern, not exactly sure but i love it anyway .
#3 - The Shirt Dress
A shirt dress is perfect for those lazy days especially as it is just one piece. Put it on and we're ready to go! To give it a more stylish vibe, put on a more unique shirtdress with patterns or different textures, or layer on some accesories and some cool shoes.
For my outfit, i decided on this denim dress, which i know isnt exactly a shirtdress but, you get the idea. The dress's denim texture and peterpan collar also give the outfit and extra "umph", i then wore my trysty Furla to take my daily essentials, my Daniel Wellington Watch, and of course, my gray Oxford Heels by Doctor Martens. You can even see my rosary on my wrist that my grandmother gave me a while ago!
Before anything else, i would like to thank Gadis Magz for have given me tikets and invitations to Cleo Fashion Awards and Jakarta Fashion Week 2017. We had such an amazing time there getting inspired by many bew fashion trends on the runway.

Congratulations @PVRA.official for winning the title for being the most succesful accesories brand, especially with the launch of your peplum belts, definitely need one in my own closet ASAP!
Hay United is definitely my absolute favourite of the show, being composed of very modern athlesiure that is so different from the rest of the shows tonight.
What i love most about Hay United is its unique concept, having their models walk freely and dance unlike most models during fashion week.
(Trust me, i know, i've taken modelling lessons!)
in fact, i was too mesmerized by their show that i failed to take many photos XD
there will always be a special place in my heart for dear, dear, Niion as i have actually worked with this brand before. Niion is a quirky, unique bag and accesory brand consisting of durable, waterproof bags suitable for the beach and travelling while still looking cute and absolutely quirky!
here are some outfits I particularly love, however am not as interested to the rest of their designs. Nonetheless, their designers are still beyond amazing, just not my cup of tea.

love love love the slit bellsleevs on this outfit, the simpler, all black design also adds up to give it a chic, professional look.

this dress is so beautiful, just look at how simple yet detailed this piece is. The folds and cuts and pattern in general is made so beautifully and delicately.
blogger hunting (or stalking?)
my friend Felicia and I, okay, mostly just me, went full on stalker mode😂 the whole entire event i've kept my eyes peeled for bloggers on the go.
though i saw a lot of them, including Sonia Eryka, Yoetama, and Pattdevex, i couldnt get photos with them all as we were all rushing here and there to our shows.
so happy to be able to meet @elxielvina, though have to admit, we dont look our best here, it was definitely worth the while to have a short conversation with you.
and of course meeting @chiantygunawan is a dream come true, she may not be as well known, but i absolutely love her style and is definitely one of my inspirations. She is also so kind and warm in real life, and sparked conversations with me and my friends along the way.
Can't even begin with how thankful i am for being able to work with many different brands of all sorts. Recently, i have been blessed with the opportunity to work with one of Indonesia's leading teen accessories brand, Stroberi Teen. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to work with such an amazing brand, and special thanks to Kak Ule, for taking these awesome photos!
Seen above in Stroberi's Aviators, coming soon to stores near you
Their coin purse is just beyond adorable, featuring my Bae, aka Coach's Rainbow Swagger XD
this bracelet screams out tribal vibes, coming soon to stores near you!
Had ways too many photos to post them all, have about a hundred of each product XD above are just some of my favourites!

A black leather jacket is such an essential to anyone's closet. It is such a simple and yet versatile piece, and never fails to give off that badass vibe.
I have been obsessed, yes, OBSESSED with wearing my trusty leather jacket lately. I'm pretty sure my peers have seen me in it way too many times! A lot of people know i love to overdress, but then again, isnt that what we all fashion enthusiasts love to do? A leather jacket is so easy to shrug on, yet, it seems so dressed up to wear one, especially when you live in a hot, humid, area such as Indonesia. But does it stop me from wearing such a fashion forward statement piece? Oh hell no!
Another one of my current obsessions have been chokers, chokers, and chokers! Chokers are so much fun, i am so grateful for its 90s comeback as honestly, chokers are the bomb💣
I am probably literally the shortest person you'll ever meet, i am barely 5 feet tall! Chokers have this affect on you which draws people's eyes upwards towards our necks, giving off the illusion of longer legs and a more elongated body. Having chokers also help us accesorize while not covering up or blocking out parts of the top we have on when we have a much more statement pieve such as my leather jacket.
Get my badass heart leather choker by @its.choker on instagram!
to finish off my look, i decided on these super comfortable black jeggings from @s.cloth888 on instagram. These are so comfortable and affordable, but are definitely amazing quality and look expensive! Such a great comfortable way to jazz up my look!
as i mentioned earlier, i am extremely short, so i finished it all off with my all time favourite 7 inch lace up heels!
While everyone loved the summer for the endless sunny days in the beach, or winter for all the soft fluffy snow, i've always loved the fall more than any other. Fall is always filled with beautiful shades of red, orange, yellow, and brown. And not to mention, the fall fashion trends that never fail to impress me.
My favourite fall fashion staple would definitely be suede, suede, and suede. There's just something about the texture of suede that takes you back to the 70s. And the colour of suede of course, often circulates around tans an browns, the perfect shade for the fall.
For today's #OOTD, i decided that what better way to express my love for the fall than wearing my all time favourite fall fashion trend, SUEDE!!! I went for a suede on suede look, wearing my suede mini skirt from Forever21 and my fringed suede purse by Stradivarius. to balance of the outfit, and to still keep it suitable for the weather here in Indonesia, i decided for a black knotted crop top and my lace up heels from Forever21.
So sorry for the lack of posts in the past couple months, I actually lost my password for a while.. thankfully though, i am back and have a lot of posts up my sleeve!
i'm sure most of you know i have a huge love of fashion, hence my fashion blog and instagram page, but not a lot of you know that i have always wanted to be a fashion designer. yes, a fashion designer. i never really speak of it because i absolutely cannot draw, but its just a little dream of mine that someday, maybe i could be a designer...somehow...
Just a couple days ago, my group mates Ken, Vionna, and I decided to participate in Tunas Muda's Fashion challenge they held for Pride Cup 2016.
Our dress was inspired by the concept of Daydreams. Daydreams are fantasies that come across our minds in the day, when our subconscious minds take over and let us float into a world that is entirely our own. A world where we let our imaginations run wild, where we fantasise our innermost desires, goals, dreams, memories, and moments long gone. We decided that using pinks and purples create a soft aura to the dress, representing the sweet thought we have while daydreaming, while the flowers represent the blossoming youth; how innocent minds daydream of something ethereal coming into bloom.
Though we didn't win, we all had such a fun experience. we got to experience our dream careers as well as meet a lot of new people whom we've bonded over a common interest. Keep scrolling to see more photos of our experience!
More photos of our sketches and how we made them below!!
Don't have a lot of outfits from my latest Singapore trip as i only stayed for a couple days, but here is my first outfit.
A simple ringer tee can never go wrong when you're feeling lazy or prefer to dress casual while still wanting to look a little more extra! i decided to pair my comfy knitted ringer tee in gray with some simple black leggings for a super comfortable yet chic look. I then wore my favourite aviator sunnies by Raybans and my trusty Daniel Wellington to finish the look. Though you can't see it in the photo, i'm also wearing my pair of Nike Roshes as well as my trusty Michael Kors leather rucksack to carry my books, phone, and wallet. (i will be posting a whats in my bag post real soon so look out for that!)
for my second outfit, i decided to dress it up a little bit by wearing a statement jacket and giving it a pop of color.
while i have to admit, my outfit isn't exactly practical for the summer, i loved how it looked at the end. Wearing a leather jacket definitely gives your whole outfit an 'umph!' and makes your outfit stand out from the crowd. And to make my outfit even louder, i even decided to take my bright yellow purse by Salvatore Ferragamo to add a pop of color and give it that summer vibe, because of these two louder pieces, i decided to just go with a simple gray top and black skirt, paired with black wedges to balance out the louder pieces. Balance is always important in fashion, well, basically everything in life. point is, don't go all out with your clothing, Wearing a bright bag and statement jacket? wear some neutrals to tone it down a bit!
